December Goals & Intentions

December Goals & Intentions

Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing my monthly goals with you all. As always, I’d love to hear your own goals for yourself in the comments below. I’m keeping things simple and easy this month.

December Goals & Intentions

  • Post 2 recipe posts: Hope to post at least 2 recipe posts. I’m working on a fun collaboration recipe post with 2 companies to bring some holiday themed recipes for you!
  • Read 1 book: I want to read instead of doing so much phone scrolling. Any book recommendations for me?
  • Watch 1 movie: Movie watching has been non existent since Aubrey was born. I always go to bed instead of watch anything. BUT, I want to watch at least one Christmas movie! What’s your favorite Christmas movie?
  • Have 1 date night: Making this a regular monthly goal while we are in this busy season of life.
  • Bake a batch of Christmas cookies: I just finished going through my initial Christmas cookie batch, so now I’d like to make another kind! What kind should I make? Share your favorite recipes down below!

What goals do you have for yourself this month?

Tell me in the comments below!

  1. Our goals are so similar. Mine include finishing the two books I have on my bedside table (that have been there for WAY too long). Post the recipe I’ve had in my draft folder for again, way too long. And have a date night with Dan that includes dinner out at this pizza place we want to try + baking a bunch of christmas cookies to give out as gifts to friends. This was supposed to happen this week but had to be re scheduled 🙁

    • Elf is one of my top three favorites too! I was just listening to a radio show where they were discussing if Die Hard was an actual Christmas movie. The consensus was yes because it takes place during Christmas. They also said the same for Harry Potter movies, Mean Girls, and a few other ones that have at least one Christmas-y scene in them.

    • I know, it’s so hard! That sounds great. I know when we have made time for them we feel refreshed even just after a dinner out!

  2. You should make a ton of crisp and crunchy semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies; since they’re not gluten free, keep some for Daniel and send the rest of them our way( just so you don’t get sick or anything) Good idea, huh?

  3. Me and my boyfriend just recently watched Charlie Brown’s Christmas while we snuggled up by a fire with lots of blankets and it was so nice and cozy and nostalgic haha! Good luck with all your goals!!

  4. Oh my gosh I have been CRAVING Christmas cookies. I think its mostly due to all the Hallmark Christmas movies I’ve been watching 😉 But seriously – I’m making gluten-free sugar cookies soon because my mouth waters just thinking about them!
