Foodie Friday: Chocolate Berry Dessert Oats

Foodie Friday: Chocolate Berry Dessert Oats

Happy Friday one and all. I am so excited that it’s finally Friday…this week was totally busy and stressful, so I’m ready to slow down this weekend. Today’s Chocolate Berry Dessert Oats recipe comes together in a snap and is not loaded with a ton of sugar or added junk.

These Chocolate Berry Dessert Oats are lightly sweetened, gluten free, and a healthier dessert option for those of you with a sweet tooth. You’ll find you probably have most of the ingredients on hand, and you could use any kind of berry you’d like. This recipe made 6 medium size muffins.

I think this would go really well with some coffee. I’ll be having one with my Saturday morning coffee I’m sure! Have a wonderful weekend and happy baking!

  1. I would rather eat healthier dessert options frequently!! I love making my favorite treats healthier… my favorite right now is melted coconut oil, honey, and dark chocolate cocoa powder mixed together and put in the freezer for about 10 minutes… its like a fudge. yum!! These look so good and healthy enough for breakfast!

    • really?! Wow I’m going to make this! Thanks for sharing–I love making healthier versions too. Gotta feed the sweet tooth might as well be good for me too haha. Yeah, I’m definitely going to be having one of these along side an egg tomorrow morning!

    • Me too! I always feel bloated and terrible after–I might as well make something I can enjoy and not feel gross after!

  2. Seeing how I need dessert EVERY night… I’d like to have something somewhat healthy on a daily basis. And then save the super indulgences to less frequent. Berries and chocolate are the ultimate combo. Some sort of fruit or berry and chocolate is my go to end of the night snack (just finished this very thing a moment ago) 🙂
