Go-To Rest Day Workouts

I hope that everyone is having a fantastic week so far! Every Saturday or Sunday, I make playlists for all of my workouts for the week. I do 5-6 days of more intense workouts and save the 6th or 7th day for a rest day. On my rest days, I still like to do some gentle stretching to work out my sore body from the rest of the week. I have found that using my rest day to do absolutely nothing sometimes makes me sore for longer. That being said, today I thought I would share my go-to rest day stretching routines and provide the links for you. Happy Stretching!

  1. Great post! I definitely agree with you that if I do nothing on my rest day, I end up MORE sore. I usually take a couple long walks and do some cleaning to keep moving so I don’t wind up too sore.

    • oh yes, cleaning is always a good one. such a workout! I like to put on the 90’s pop music pandora station while i clean hahah so funny! 🙂 dance par-tay!

    • i know! I dont want to feel like a total couch potato lump! haha so funny! 🙂 Theres also a good one on the same channel as the yoga for when you’re sick that is for when you have cramps. its really relaxing!
