A Letter to My Mama:
As I look back on all of our wonderful memories together, I am reminded of how blessed I am to call you mom. You provided me with a safe and fun childhood filled with warm memories and fun. It’s hard to believe I’ve been married over 4 years now and out of the house. No matter how much time passes, I still feel at home when I walk through your doors.
This Mother’s Day especially as I am about to embark on life as new mother, I felt grateful to have you by my side. Baby Girl and I are both lucky to have you and I can’t wait for her to enjoy her time with her Mommom. This year is sure to bring lots of excitement and joy and I can’t wait to share in it with you. Thank you for everything you have done and everything you continue to do for me. I hope that I am half the mom that you were (and still are) to me!
Heather & Baby Girl
I hope that you all had a wonderful time celebrating your moms or moms in your life or taking time to relax on your own as a mother! This weekend was spent plans free with Daniel. We finished the major things for baby prep and my hospital bag is packed. We also spent time together relaxing which we haven’t been able to do in many weeks. What did you do this weekend? Tell me in the comments below!
Posting Schedule & Guest Post Opportunity:
Just wanted to give you a quick update! Baby girl has dropped and I am now having pretty intense pelvic pain and the doctor told me to rest whenever possible. That being said, I’m taking things easy whenever I can. I’m looking for some interested bloggers who might want to contribute a guest post in the next few months; particularly for a Foodie Friday recipe. Gluten free and vegan would be most appreciated! If you’re interested, please email me at PolyglotJot@gmail.com with your ideas!
How did you spend Mother’s Day? Do you prefer no plans weekends or busy weekends?
